Custom Oregon “Puddles” Beer Tap handle - SOLD

When the craving for an ice-cold beer strikes, it's essential to have a perfect tap handle to pour it just right. As an avid Oregon Ducks fan, I decided to channel my passion and create a tap handle to represent my team. I sketched the outline of the beloved "Puddles" mascot onto a 1/4" poplar wood, then hand-cut it with a jig saw and refined it with fine hand tools.

Next, I carved out the shape of the mount and body from a base material to ensure a sturdy fit. For contrast, I stained the handle in a light maple while the duck received a dark walnut hue. To complete the look, I painted the backside silver and added a 3-color vinyl decal of the "Puddles" logo, perfectly capturing the spirit of my team.

Lastly, I attached a threaded insert to the bottom and sealed the entire piece with a high-gloss clear coat, making it both durable and attractive. Whether watching a game or enjoying a casual drink, this unique tap handle adds a touch of personal flair and pride to any gathering.
