THE DESK
Working from home can have its challenges, especially when your workspace is not optimized for your needs. That's why I decided to upgrade my temporary desk into a more permanent solution. First, I carefully crafted the top and bottom panels by gluing boards together. I then drilled dowel holes into the boards and connected the panels together. Next, I built two drawer boxes, complete with faces, and prepared them for installation. The legs were made from beautiful oak, measured and angled perfectly to fit the desk. I connected them using dowels and glue for a sturdy foundation. Finally, after sanding down the surfaces, I stained the desk in a rich color before sealing it with a water-based polyurethane finish. Now I have a functional and stylish workspace that can withstand the demands of working from home.
